About Us

Our Mission

Action Through Action is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) media production company that uses high quality digital media to drive resources and awareness to empower people from historically excluded communities. Through partnerships with credible organizations, Action Through Action provides a strong call to action for viewers to learn more about how they can become better informed and take action.

Our Vision

We envision a studio where entertainment harnesses its power to bring awareness to the real human beings and organizations actively improving our world, all while moving forward social progress and discussion through the exciting stories we tell.

Action Through Action will empower individuals of any race, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality and more by pursuing decisive representation in the media we produce, both in front of and behind the camera. Our projects, even those that are fictional stories and/or based on existing intellectual property, will all stem from the truth of our current human condition, while reminding every viewer that we can - and must - change the world for the better through our individual actions.

About Us

Located in Los Angeles, California, Action Through Action’s first production is a short action film designed to promote disabilities equity in the entertainment industry by casting a lead actress who lives with a physical disability to portray a non-disabled character who becomes disabled. To achieve this illusion of the character “fighting on her feet,” production will make use of professional stunt wire-rigging, stunt doubles, and other visual effects commonly used in blockbusters today, in an effort to encourage other productions to consider talent with disabilities for their cast and crew.

This first production will directly raise awareness for the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, which is recognized as an innovator and premier provider of rehabilitation and acute medical and surgical services for more than 125 years and sets the standard of care for individuals of all ages with physical disabilities due to catastrophic injuries or illnesses (such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, etc.).
